hourly-archive — a build cache for Firefox regression testing

Thanks to landfill.m.o and Reed Loden for the server space, and to Peter van der Woude for the extensive prettification. Please get in touch if you find anything that's wrong, odd, or smells funny (email address at bottom of page).

Quick key: File names are stamped with the start time for the build in PST/PDT, using the format YYYYMMDD_hhmm_<original filename>. More info below.

The goal is to have a few days of hourly builds from the Firefox trunk, so that regressions can be pinned down to a smaller group of checkins than is possible with the nightlies. The files are named YYYYMMDD_hhmm_firefox-... based on the time the build started (Mozilla time, PST/PDT). A "_N_" is added between the timestamp and original filename for builds which are clobbers (complete rebuilds, ie nightlies, "respins"). See the matching Cached Checkins link for a list of fixes in each build, or use the Bonsai Query link to ask for them live. An html file of cached checkins and an .url file for the live query are added to the zip files.

Currently we are watching the tinderbox fx-win32-tbox on the Firefox tree, and getting builds from the hourly dir on the ftp, supplemented with nightly builds if required (an hourly isn't pushed to ftp on the nightly run).
